This month started with a cleaning turn, and after all the usual morning activities, I decided on a new mission.  I would clean Stowe, as after all, it was only a layer of dust, and a couple of hours before lunch would see it nice and shiny.

This typical over optimistic idea had me sweeping dust and debris off the loco for what seemed like an age, much to the mirth of the pway gang, who, due to being on fire patrol (ie riding up and down the line all day) appeared several times to taunt me with the usual "missed a bit" and "not finished hey?" lines..... This pic was taken at about 4.30pm, when I had just about finished the side in view.  The other side would have to wait for another day......
