Not a very good day for tracklaying.....

The start of the day, and the rain is beginning to fall.  Not good when your equipment is best used in the dry!

Fortunately, cameras are slightly less liable to be affected by taking a quick shot in the rain than a disc cutter or rotabroach which need to run for several minutes to complete their job.  During one of the all too brief dry spells, ave is seen with his trusty multi-million pound camera taking another one of his pics that put mine to shame

A little while later, there had been enough respite in the weather to cut the ends of the rails and at least clip the exisiting panel together, even if there was no point in starting the next one
