Today we entertained a group of visitors from the pway gang of the Rother Valley Railway, who wanted to see how we go about laying new track and maintaining the existing. We started with a Wickham powered tour of the line, followed by a walk from Kingscote to East Grinstead and back to show the progress on the extension, and the obstacles that lie in wait. After lunch, a walk towards Ardingly was in order for similar purposes, before the fading light caused us to retire for tea and cake!
