Another footplate turn, and another first. Today was a day on the O1, which involved a 6.30am start, which was not really something I was looking forward to. The start to the day could have been better for various reasons, not least of which was hitting my head on something the first time I went in to uncouple the train at Kingscote! One combination of steam heat pipes decided it was going to require two pairs of hands to couple up, and it rained every time we left Kingscote, but apart from that the day went very well, and as usual I don't think I did any too silly.
