Today started with a rather mundane task, for whatever reason in the health and safety rules, it appears that you need to keep an eye on your ladders, so my X turn began with checking all the workshop ladders to make sure they were sound, and marking on them when they were due for the next check, as well as updating each ladder's record in the folder.  After the majority had been done, I managed to escape, and the next task was to fit the new hose to the tap in the top loco shed.  Finally, a hosepipe where all the water makes it to the end, not one where most of it ends up showering unsuspecting passers by...!

Afterwards, I did some more work on Bluebell, where the brake rigging was being removed in preparation for the frames to be lifted.  This time, although there were split pins, I managed to get a job removing nuts, most of which had split pins too, but at least they were accessible ones!

Pull rods have now been removed, and so has most of the grime on the frames.....
