Giants of Steam - Day 1
What a difference a year makes. Last year, I turned up frozen to death on a bright but cold morning, this year I arrived at Horsted bedraggled in the pouring rain and high winds! My decision to do some photography for the day seemed to be doomed, but you never know your luck
Many thanks are due to Trevor for inviting me in from the weather for a while, this shot
typifies the day, and at least the signalman has a roof over his head, and on this day also
had someone else under supervision to go outside for the token exchanges!
Sadly there were no particularly spectacular shots, but this has to be one of my favourites,
75027 and the Dukedog restarting from a signal check at Three Arch bridge
