Very hot today, which started with a trip to the Northern Extension to drop off a few more supplies for the track laying team, and also for Jon to take some more photos for the Interactive extension map.

Later on, we descended upon the track south of Three Arch bridge for a day of jacking and packing.
Due to the wonder of camera phone technology, you can see how certain members relax at lunchtime....
Shortly after, it was back to work, and a lesson on falling over again...

Mid afternoon, it was p-way to the rescue. Shortly after the passage of the O1, a loud crackling was heard high up on the embankment, and it was all hands to the pumps, or more accurately shovels, as a lineside fire took hold and started spreading with alarming speed....
