Today was an X turn that I did for a friend who was unable to make it, I think the excuse is being halfway around the globe. For a change, there was for once nothing needing a washout, so I managed to get some more work done on Bluebell, fabricating some supports for the bunker floor. This involved learning how to use the very large overhead drill press in the workshop, and was far more interesting than the last X turn and the ladder counting...
When drilled out, this will be one of the two transverse supports that fit
between the frames, there are also four that fit between the frames and edges
of the footplate.
One of the new supports, with the original for a before and after comparison
