Another multi area day today, with no less than four different work sites....
Firstly, the remaining sleeper at Vaux End was changed

We then spent some time tidying up the ballast on the Ardingly spur which had been dropped all
over the place. Julian appears to want to find some more...

Some tidying later, and some sleepers appeared!
After all the excitement, we then spent the rest of the day emptying a Grampus of ash into the voids underneath the sleepers in the carriage shed, where the lifting project was reaching it's conclusion
